A favorite Toronto tea shop, Tealish strove to promote healthy living through benefit-driven teas. This was a different approach to a century’s old commodity. Our opportunity to work with the brand developed in 2011 when we were charged with unifying a line of products. From there the relationship blossomed and many sub-brands were created. Every collection was different than the last, but all expressed the mood & tone of its founder. Now west-coast based, the company continues to grow and thrive in new directions. Time moves on but all involved remain proud of the foundations that were built.
Expressing difference and benefits requires simplicity. Overwhelming consumers with information is taxing on them and missed. We developed a system of icons to unify product benefits on the then product catalogue and shopping site. This allowed sub-brands to be grouped in a logical and user-friendly manner. Expression of key product values were thus brought to the forefront.
Tealish’s success laid in the ability to present aspirations. Creating settings that inspired and framed packaging solutions was part of the magic. Creating moments of relaxation, through evocative scents, flavour combinations and companion goods were supported by a welcoming store front. We created a shopping site that like the store became a place to pop-in to see what’s new.
Forever one of our favourite lines, this colourful line was summer in a box. Cocktail infusions designed to go with gin, prosecco, sangria, vodka… is the stuff summer entertaining is made of. On the box recipes offered full strength variations mocktail solutions were available through the site. Sip, breath, relax.
