Only the most determined toddler can resist the allure of the famed “S” shaped cookie. Parents love its efficacy in calming tense situations, and we loved the nostalgic sentiments our research found. With 60 years in the market, we built upon consumer’s recall of the product vs the brand name. Seeing the cookie made people smile. Our campaign was built to relive memories plus create a bridge between the brand, the product, and a new audience. Much has changed in 60 years, but the love of Italian sweets remains as strong as ever. With a Union Station rush-hour activation, many smiles bounced back at us and the brand team.
