At our table, Plates are Passports.
An established staple for quality Italian foods, Jan K. Overweel needed to bring its classic homebrand back into a competitive position on the grocery store shelf. The new visual identity needed to resonate with modern shoppers, while not alienating the existing loyal consumer base. The approach was clean and friendly, with strong visual cues to inform the consumer about the product. The recipe card faceplate atop bold colours with a painterly texture creates a high-visibility design with a hint of nostalgia - allowing Emma to stand off the shelves.
